FO Friday: My Wedding Shawl

Today I have a very important project to share - my wedding shawl.

It follows the Shipwreck pattern and is made of beautiful Exmoor Sock Yarn by John Arbon Textiles.

I absolutely adore the simplicity of the constructions of it - all knitted in the round, no wrong sides to purl, only 7 increase rows. It is a great travel project once you get past the first three lace charts and it has travelled with me far and wide, on many train, coach and plane journeys.

Recently I ordered a new camera lens so we decided to take it along with the shawl on a bike ride to test it out.

I'm so incredibly happy with how the shawl turned out and very proud of myself for finishing it. It was the largest lace project I ever made and it took so many knitting hours to complete. I can't wait to wear it on my wedding day!

What are your newest finished projects this week?
