FO Friday: Tangled & Multiplied

Like every knitter every once in a while, I decided on the great quest of Destashing. Armed with perfect leftovers and one-skein patterns I set off on the adventure.

The project below is one such example, it takes very little yarn and is a great pick-me-up. It only took about 2 hours to knit, which makes it a wonderful instant gratification!

On the other hand, while I was reorganising my yarn, I noticed few extra skeins that I didn't even know I had. For example, there is a whole extra skein of Knit Picks Gloss Fingering - even my Ravelry stash only records having 1.1 skeins left. I have the one, and the little bit over, and turns out I also have another skein! Funnily enough, this is not a frogged skein, it's brand new, never used before yarn. I'm telling you my stash is multiplying itself - how on earth am I supposed to be stash busting if it grows when I'm not looking?

  1. Mine seems to breed by itself too ;)

Love the headphone cover, I keep meaning to make one for mine as they tangle just by looking at them!

  6. You say your stash is multiplying by itself like this is a bad thing...

  7. Very good luck if the non-acrylics are multiplying :) I've seen these earbud wire thing-ys before, and considering how many times a day I'm untangling mine ... maybe I'd better get on it!

  8. But what a problem to have! Great stashbusting project...I don't stash bust...the Hubs calls my stash my "retirement plan" for when I retire and won't have as much money to spend on yarn...;)
