Fibre Appreciation Thursday

Hello everyone!

In today's Fibre Appreciation post I'd like to share three gorgeous skeins from Lioness Arts, lovely local dyer in Brighton, whom I had pleasure to meet last week :-)

School Is Not Compulsory
I'm about to start my teacher training course, so when I saw a skein named like this I knew it was my yarny destiny to have it!

King of the Jungle merino fingering

I really want to make something special out of it, but I can't think of a project at the moment. Any suggestions are welcome :-)

Milky Way
This is a skein of Silky DK, which is simply lush, so squishy and lovely! I'm going to make Hitchhiker out of it and it's going to be called "Milky Way"   :-)
I love the shine of this yarn!

Crushed Blueberries
This skein reminds me of crushed blueberries, and I love blueberries - I spent many summers picking berries in the forest :-)
Next week I'm hoping to get my hands on some of Danielle's yarn so watch this space!
For more fiberly goodness, visit her blog at A Stash Addict's blog.

  1. Beautiful colours!! - look forward to seeing your hitchhiker!! :D

  2. This post is a feast for the eyes, such gorgeous yarn!!

  3. Scrummy yarns ... I want to squoosh them with my fingers ;)
Looking forward to seeing what you make with them.

Thank you for your comment!
