Today is a time of big change, I'm leaving my current job and moving onto another. It's scary, exciting, terrifying and awesome all at the same time.
I'm swapping train for bus now and it saddens me that there will be no knitter on that morning train - who will people stare at! :o)
I'll miss my co-workers I spent with them 17th part of my life and they accompanied big changes in my life.
I'm making this little cute guys as goodbye gifts for my them. They are pretty quick to make and a great way to use up leftover yarn.
Added: instructions for Yoda :o)
Pick up and knit 5 sts where you want your ears to be. All in garter stitch
Knit 4 rows.
k2tog, knit to end
k2tog, knit to end
Knit 3 rows
Slip 1st, k2tog, psso
Thread remaining yarn through one end of the ear, don't pull too tight. Repeat for the other one.
I stuffed some of them with yarn that came with Let's Knit magazine. I'm also putting a pebble in so that they can be used as paperweights.
I'm sorry if I'm slow at commenting today but I won't probably sit down in front of the computer until this evening
